The Red Bull Rampage big mountain mountain bike freeride contest went down last weekend. This contest is the gnarliest MTB event going. Huge drops, massive gap jumps, high speed and crazy consequences. This year didnt disappoint. It was a bummer that the wind picked up part way into 2nd runs and cut the event short. Guys who got solid first runs in were rewarded. Cam Zink did the biggest backflip drop in history but the bottom part of his run fell apart keeping him off the top spot.
