World Supermoto Champ Boris Chambon at X Fest

The Mecaglisse crew brought in 4x World Supermoto Champion and multiple time French and Italian Champion Boris Chambon (www.borischambon.com) to teach a Supermoto school the Friday before the X Fest races and race against Canada's best. I wasn't able to attend the school but I heard it was very good. Chambon was a treat to watch on the paved sections. He was super fast and extremely smooth.

Chambon last won the world championship in 2005

This is the start of the Pro heat race. Look at the lean angle Chambon has compared to the other riders as he tries to swing around the outside of everyone in the first turn

Here is a pass sequence on the 2nd final where leader Max Sylvestre left a small opening enough for Chambon to slip through the inside to take the lead.

This is a video of Chambon's run in the Supermoto Drift competition. He was the only rider to powerslide out of the drift. He even capped it off with a wheelie out. Needless to say this got him the win in the drift competition
